Executor is a person whom you appoint to handle your assets. We recommend you appoint your main beneficiary to be the main executor.
If the main executor is not around, not willing or not able to perform the duties, you appoint a substitute executor to take over the duties of the main executor. We recommend you appoint one of the other beneficiaries to be the substitute executor.
If both of the above executors are not around, not willing, or not able to perform the duties, you appoint another contingent executor.
This section is for clients with children below 21 years of age. Your spouse is always the natural or legal guardian of your young children. We recommend you appoint a substitute guardian in case of a common disaster. The substitute guardian will be given the powers to have care, custody and control of your young children.
Beneficiaries are individuals who will receive your assets which include cash in the banks, stocks and shares, motor vehicles, club membership, etc (all assets in your single name). Organizations can also be named as beneficiaries.
